This is a very informative video from Best Friends.  When you get 17 mins into it, an excellent chart is revealed which I do not have the copyright to post here but see for yourself how it applies to the battle we have coming up to get our spay neuter funding extended beyond 2027.

You do know it is a WV legislative bill that will be required to pass for this to occur?  WVVAW will be unveiling a plan soon on this but for now we need to educate ourselves for success.

The most effective way to convince a legislator to get them on your side:

Highest influencer is a constituent to talk to that legislator about how the policy affects him/her.  49%

Next highest influencer is contact from a person who represent many of the legislator’s constituents.   48%

Virtual or video calls from constituents.  37%

Emails, and/postal letters. 17%  – this is what most of us use so we see here this will need amped up to a higher level of engagement.
